The Practitioners
THE OSTEOPATHS
There are three osteopaths at the practice. All
are fully qualified osteopaths and registered with
the General Council of Osteopaths.
Janet Bell BSc(Ost) DO
Registered Osteopath
Established the practice in 1997.
Janet has a particular interest in antenatal and
postnatal care and the
osteopathic treatment of children. As well as general
osteopathic practice she has postgraduate experience
of cranial osteopathy.
George Benn BSc(Hons), BSc(Hons) Ost
Registered Osteopath
Practising general osteopathy he
has an interest in sports injuries particularly swimming
and running of which he has competition experience.
Naomi Hart BOst M.I.C.O.
Registered Osteopath
Practising osteopathy, for adults
and children, with an interest in osteopathic care,
during and after pregnancy. With a background in
sports and exercise and having worked as a swimming coach, training swimmers,
from babies to international athletes, she has a
keen interest in sports related injuries at both recreational and
competitive levels.
Charlotte Woolley BSc (Hons) BOst
Registered Osteopath
Practising general osteopathy with an interest in sport, most notably
netball, where previous county experience enabled her to play for Nottingham University
for over three years. Graduated from the British School Of Osteopathy having previously
studied Biology at Nottingham University.
HOMEOPATH
Christine Lowson BSc(Hons) LCCH
Homeopathy may be used for a number
of conditions, including skin
complaints, asthma, hay fever, recurrent infections,
hormonal problems,
and digestive orders. Christine has experience in
treating both children and adults.
PRACTICE MANAGEMENT
Clair Pattman, Maria Blanchard and
Tracy Ferris will welcome you, as
they run the reception and administration
of the practice.
DIETITIAN
Josette Sellings SRD ASD DipADP
A state registered and accredited
sports dietitian with over 30 years experience, working
in both the NHS and private practice, Josette has a special interest
in sports nutrition to help maximise performance.
Her qualification is recognised by the British Olympic
Association and Sport for England. She is able to
offer advice in specialist areas such as diabetes,
cholesterol problems, irritable bowel syndrome and
weight management, as well as general dietary advice.
